The Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) South Sulawesi Branch, in collaboration with the UKK Neonatologi / Ikatan Dokter Anak Indonesia (IDAI), successfully held the 8th Annual Neonatology Update. The event, which took place from June 5th-8th, 2024, brought together more than 500 healthcare professionals to collaborate on improving neonatal care. With the theme Collaboration Intervention in Early Life for a Better Future, the event emphasized the importance of cross-disciplinary cooperation in creating solutions for newborns, particularly those at high risk or born prematurely.

The latest technologies, such as real-time infant monitoring and early nutritional interventions, were key highlights. Collaboration between doctors, nutritionists, and researchers demonstrated the potential for groundbreaking advancements in neonatal care, saving thousands of infants during their critical early stages of life.
One participant remarked, "This event reminded me of the profound impact we can have on these infants' futures. Every action we take matters deeply, and collaboration is the key."

The success of this event marks the beginning of long-term collaboration.
